 Innovative designs include a longer bowl, which extends the residence time of the mud in the bowl,

Corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant bowl is provided, with quick-change hard alloy sleeves at the

sand discharge port of the cone bowl.

The discharge surface of the screw propeller is welded with a tungsten carbide wear-resistant layer.

We adopts bearings made by German FAG or Swedish SKF.

Electrical components comply with Siemens/Schneider explosion-proof standards or the International

Electrotechnical Commission explosion-proof certification system.

How to Properly Maintain and Service Horizontal Centrifugal Sand Pumps?

Proper and timely maintenance of horizontal centrifugal sand pumps is necessary to ensure their normal operation and extend their lifespan. This aspect should be given importance for the use of any type of pump.

  1. Check the oil level on the power end when the oil level stabilizes. This should be done at least once a day. If a chain drive is used, the oil level in the chain box should also be checked.
  2. Observe the working condition of the cylinder liner and piston. It is normal to have a small amount of mud carried out with the piston. If there is leakage, promptly replace the piston and thoroughly inspect the wear of the cylinder liner. If there is significant wear, the cylinder liner should be replaced in a timely manner.
  3. Check the cylinder liner cavity in the frame. If there is a large amount of mud or oil deposits, it should be cleaned.
    Check the water tank of the spray pump. If the water level is insufficient, it should be replenished. If the water quality is contaminated, it should be replaced. The water tank should also be cleaned.
  4. Check the inflation pressure of the airbag to ensure it meets the operational requirements.
  5. Check the reliability of the safety valve and replace it if necessary.
  6. Check the pressure gauge of the lubricating oil pump for any changes. If the pressure is very low (less than 0.035MPa) or there is no pressure, promptly inspect the inlet and outlet filters for any blockages.
  7. Loosen the clamp on the piston rod daily. Check if the clamp cone surface, the piston rod, and the connecting surface of the intermediate rod are clean. Rotate the piston rod one-quarter turn and tighten it. This is done to evenly distribute the wear on the piston, prolonging the lifespan of both the piston and the cylinder liner.
  8. Before tightening the valve cover, apply lubricating grease to the thread surface. Check for any loosening every 4 hours.
  9. Regularly observe the seals on the valve cover, cylinder liner (including the seal between the wear plate and the fluid cylinder), and the alarm hole. If there is mud discharge, promptly replace the corresponding sealing ring.

KOSUN Oily Sludge Treatment System Sent to Kazakhstan

At the end of January 2022, a large oily sludge treatment system and related centralized control system designed and manufactured by KOSUN was completed, assembled and commissioned, and then packed in 14 train cars, which were loaded from China-Xi’an and successfully shipped to the project site in Aktau, Kazakhstan via the Eurasian railway line in 28 days.The production period of this system coincided with the outbreak of the new crown epidemic in Xi’an, China, and the city was closed. All KOSUN employees eliminated various difficulties. With the strong support of the China Railway Xi’an Bureau and the assistance of various departments, a week before the Chinese Lunar New Year The entire system has been shipped.

This system is ordered by an internationally renowned general contractor of environmental protection projects in Europe from our company through international bidding, and the final use location is in Aktau, Kazakhstan. Our company has undertaken a series of work such as technical design, manufacturing, inspection, transportation, and foreign technical support services for the project.

KOSUN designed and produced this set of oiled sludge treatment system which is applicable to the treatment of solid waste collection station containing oil, it is an oiled sludge treatment system with international advanced technology, the system has a treatment capacity of 60 tons/hour, mainly consisting of six modules such as pre-treatment skid, screening skid, centrifuge skid, loading/unloading conveying system, water treatment system and electrical control system.
